BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Your stay is fully refundable if cancelled up to 14 days prior to check-in, except for Non-Refundable Rates and Group Reservations. If cancelled within 14 days of arrival, 50% of the advance deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Non-Refundable rates require 100% pre-payment are non-refundable and non-transferable if cancelled. If your plans change and you depart early, cancel, or are unable to honor your reservation, a credit or refund will not be issued.

In the event of a no-show, your deposit will be forfeited, the remaining balance will be charged to the credit card on file, credits or refunds will not be issued.

The room rate quoted is per night for the number of guests stated. Deposits for reservations that are cancelled, shortened, or rescheduled are subject to forfeiture based on the cancellation policy. The deposit that is charged at the time of booking is equal to 50% of the total amount of the stay. Although we do not guarantee specific room numbers, every effort is made to accommodate your requests. Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am – early arrivals and late departures may incur additional charges. 

Reservations of four (4) or more rooms booked under the same guest’s name, company, or affiliated party will be considered a group reservation. Group reservations are subject to additional terms and fees. In the event of a cancellation, modification, or reduction in room count, a cancellation fee of $25 per room will be applied. Group reservations must be cancelled no less than three (3) months prior to arrival to avoid forfeiture of the deposit; cancellations made within three months of arrival will result in the forfeiture of the deposit in accordance with this policy. 

Guest rooms may not be used, without the prior written consent of Hotel Management, for gatherings, celebrations, preparation activities, or any event-style use that involves multiple visitors, catering, professional services, or increased foot traffic. Any activity that results in excessive noise, disruption, or abnormal room condition is strictly prohibited. The registered guest(s) of each room is responsible for the behavior and actions of anyone visiting their room and must ensure that their visitors abide by all hotel rules and regulations. Any non-registered guest will be asked to leave in the event of noise or any other disruption of guest comfort or enjoyment. Any unauthorized in-room gatherings or outside catering will result in immediate cessation of the activity and may incur additional fees, including enhanced cleaning, staffing costs, and potential forfeiture of the remainder of the stay. 

All items in the room are property of the hotel. Any missing or damaged property is the responsibility of the registered guest and will be charged accordingly based on the value of the item. 

All vehicles must be listed on the registration card at check-in. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. The Maker Hotel shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the hotel property. 

Commercial and personal photography and video shoots are not permitted without express written permission. Requests to use any area of the property as a location for photo shoots or filming should be directed to press@themaker.com and are subject to rental and usage fees. 

Pets are not permitted in the hotel. Guests who do not adhere to this policy will be charged a cleaning fee and may be asked to leave the property. In compliance with ADA regulations, individuals with a disability are allowed to be accompanied by their service animal. 

Use of the swimming pool and gymnasium are at the risk of the individual. The Maker Hotel shall not be liable for any such personal injury, death or property loss and/or damage. 

The Maker Hotel is a 100% smoke-free property. In compliance with New York’s Clean Indoor Air Act, the hotel’s guest rooms, terraces, all indoor and outdoor public spaces are smoke-free. Guests who do not adhere to this policy will be assessed a cleaning fee for each occurrence. Guests who continue to ignore this policy will be asked to leave the property and will forfeit the remainder of their stay.
